Job Description: 

There is an opportunity to join the largest owner-operator of serviced apartments in London. With over 660 apartments in our portfolio situated in six key locations around the city, we are undeniably the experts in our industry and consistently offer value to our clients. Our apartments are available for stays from just 1 night, to stays of 1 year and longer.

2017 is a very exciting year for us as we recruit, train and develop our Team for launch of our new Hotel in Westminster which is opening on the 1st of June. We pride ourselves on being leaders in our industry and we are currently seeking a New Business Trainee to join our energetic and vibrant team.

Alongside the Sales Team, you will play a significant role in the overall performance and success of the department and you will endeavor to convert all corporate enquiries into bookings. You will be a go-getter who is eager and vivacious with an appetite to forge a strong career in sales. You will be required to carry out research, cold calls, visit potential customers, attend networking events and so on. You will need to be a confident individual who is not afraid to ask for business and close a sale. You will be targeted on the performance of your accounts and you will ensure that you are fully informed on all public information as well as future plans and projects concerning your accounts. We do not require sales experience for this role but you will be strongly assessed on your confidence, aptitude and willingness to learn. Key examples of past successes are desirable and any evidence to demonstrate an over-achiever would be viewed very favorably.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initially, you will be trained in reservations and client management. The role will entail answering queries and processing bookings from assigned and new clients. You will follow up on all sales leads and will be responsible for revenue generation and customer service on any new accounts you secure. You must be a forward planner, capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team to ensure that targets are being achieved and the desired occupancy levels and rates are being met on a monthly basis. You will have excellent telephone and communication skills and be capable of building strong relationships with both your colleagues and clients.

HOURS OF WORK: Office hours are 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday – Friday. But this is not a 9-5 role.

You will be expected to attend networking events in the evening and perform overtime as and when necessary for the proper performance of your role.
